B.I.S. Community Clinic is a Designated Rural Health clinic treating all ages with a focus on wellness and Prevention.

Services include:


Immunizations: For commercial insurance we offer most adult and children vaccines. 


We are a Texas Vaccines for Children Provider: The Texas Vaccines for Children (TVFC) program provides low-cost vaccines to eligible children from birth through 18 years of age.

Adult Safety Net Program Provider: Helps providers to immunize uninsured adults with No-Cost Vaccines. There is a small Administration Fee.

Preventative Exams: Infant and well child exams, Texas Health Steps Exams, school/Sports (UIL) physicals, well adult physicals, Women’s Health (pap smears, breast exams, family planning), Texas Women Heath provider (, Male Exams, Texas Vaccines for Children, Adult Vaccines, and Pre-operative exams.


Acute Illness visits: Colds, flu, minor injuries, sprains, back pain, allergies, headaches etc.


Chronic Disease management: Diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, cholesterol, etc.


Medicare Chronic Care Management Program:  For Medicare Patients that have two or more chronic diseases (diabetes, hypertension, heart disease etc.), you may benefit from a new program that B.I.S. Community Clinic is now offering.  Our goal is to make sure you get the best care possible from everyone that is involved with your care. We can help coordinate your visits with other doctors, facilities, lab, radiology, or other testing; we can talk to you on the phone about your symptoms; we can help you with the management of your medications; and we will provide you with a comprehensive care plan. Medicare will allow us to bill for these services during any month that we have provided at least 20 minutes of non-face-to-face care of you and your conditions. You must provide your consent to participate once a year.


Home Visits: We offer primary care services in the home to patients who are home bound. Call for more information.


Minor Procedures: lacerations, wart and skin lesion removal and biopsy etc.


Employer Solutions: National Registered Certified Medical Examiner onsite, DOT Physicals, Pre-employment physicals, Urine drug screening, and initial post-accident exams.


Laboratory Services: Full services available to test certain lab in house and/or collect your lab onsite and transmit to  LabCorp.


X-Ray and Diagnostic Services: are provided through our partnership with area providers such as CHI St. Joseph, Bryan Radiology and Baylor, Scott and White.

Hospital Affiliations: CHI St, Joseph, Baylor Scott and White, and Memorial Hermann - The Woodlands.

Through our partnership with Texas A&M University College of Nursing, we are fortunate to offer the

following services and patient opportunities:


  • Cancer Preventative Services: Our uninsured patients are able to receive Well Woman Exams/Pap Smears/Preventative Infectious Disease Screenings and Mammograms through the Colleges Texas C-STEP, a grant funded program supported by the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT).   • Mental Health Services and Telehealth Counseling: We are able to partner with MHMR Grimes County and MHMR Blue Bonnet Trails Community Services for psychiatric and counseling services via Telehealth at BIS Clinic or via the patients phone at home for uninsured/insured patients who qualify.

Through N-CIBHR, a rural network integrating primary care and behavioral health providers, we offer psychiatric and counseling services via telehealth in-person at the BIS Clinic or remotely via telephone for qualifying uninsured/insured patients. Behavioral telehealth providers currently include MHMR Grimes County and Blue Bonnet Trails Community Services.

Interpreter Service Available

Patients with hearing and language needs B.I.S. Community Clinic Provides free aids and services to people with disabilities to communicate effectively with us, such as:

  • Certified sign language interpreters

  • Written information in other formats (large print, audio, accessible electronic formats, other formats)


Provides free language services to people whose primary language is not English:

  • Certified interpreters: Provided through Spectracorp, 200 languages available for translation and interpretation.

·      Interpretation available through telecommunications in the clinic.

  • Information written in other languages
